ALERT
Delays from Hurricane Devastation
Hurricanes Katrina and Rita have cut a swath of destruction in many areas of the Gulf Coast from Texas and New Orleans east through Mississippi. Courts, schools and businesses in the area are beginning to re-open, however, we still anticipate delays in the affected areas as these institutions catch up on a backlog of requests. Courts in the following counties remain closed with no estimated time for re-opening: in Louisiana - Orleans (Website is up and running, but the courthouse is still closed), Jefferson, Plaquemines, St. Bernard, Calcasieu, Vernon and Terrebonne; in Mississippi - Jackson, Harrison and Jones; in Texas - Galveston, Nacogdoches, Liberty and Chambers. Receipt of information in these areas can be delayed for an undetermined amount of time. InfoMart will post additional information on WebASAP as it becomes available. Please contact Customer Service with any questions.
